Construction of the Mill at Moreton Bay (Petrie) will have far
reaching implications for industry and investment with an influx
of new young residents and is expected to positively impact real
estate prices where student accommodation will be in demand.
In Strathpine, construction of a $75million dollar office park,
opposite Strathpine Shopping Centre is underway. Once built, it
will provide modern offices, child care centre, retail outlets, pool
and a gym.
Projects such as the $250 million dollar Laguna development,
private hospital and Mercedes Benz Dealership will render
vacant land in the North Lakes CBD a thing of the past.
These large projects are expected to have a flow on effect,
bringing further business investment, with a focus on suburbs
adjoining the Moreton Bay Rail Corridor.
Southern state driven population growth in the region is
expected to be on the rise this year as well as people seek more
affordable housing.
