STREET SWAGS needs your Support ROYAL AUSTRALIAN MINT CELEBRATES 60 YEARS OF

ICONIC AUSSIE TV SHOW MR SQUIGGLE

This year Street Swags has made a marked shift towards focusing on women
and children that find themselves homeless all throughout Australia.

Working with other support organization such as Oz Harvest and DV (Domestic Violence)
Connect we have taken a two-tiered approach. After delivering our brand-new Jumbuck
Swag we then provide food where possible through Oz Harvest Australia and then provide
a detailed contact sheet to DV Connect or dozens of other support organisations.
As you would most likely be aware the problem a lot of the time is that the distressed
mother and or child who find themselves homeless have limited knowledge of where and
how to get help. Street swags provide the Swag and the emergency bedding to make
sure they have a warm, safe, and dry place to sleep, but more importantly we take this
opportunity to give them the information of the government and not for profits that
sometimes are just around the corner that can assist them in financial, medical, and mental
support if needed.
This year marks a huge leap forward for Street Swags where we have obtained Nationwide
support from Harcourts reality in attempt to further our reach and to spread awareness
through our prep and primary school “Streets” Campaign.
We are a nationwide charity, that is made up off dozens of volunteers and only ONE paid
employee. We are structured like this so that every dollar that comes in, can end up straight
on the front line. So, if you are reading this you can be assured that every swag you gift this
Christmas will end up in the hands of those people who desperately need them.
If you have made it this far then you are most likely the reason we continue to grow each
year. Your support, no matter how small, will allow us as a charity to enter our 14th year as
Australia’s largest distributor of emergency bedding to the homeless. More importantly
