Local Hospitals
The LNP has supported billions of dollars
in handouts to the top end of town while
cutting $12 million from Prince Charles
Hospital and Redcliffe Hospital.
As an amputee and disability advocate, Ali France
knows we need a health system that works for all of
us. That’s why Ali France and Labor will more than
restore the LNP’s cuts to hospital funding, invest $30
million to build a new Specialist Care Centre in Pine
Rivers, and introduce Medicare-funded MRI services
at Redcliffe and Prince Charles Hospitals.
Local Schools
Local schools will be worse off under the
LNP, which cut $14 billion from school
funding across Australia.
Ali France and Labor believe our kids deserve the
world’s best education – not the Liberals’ cuts - by
investing an extra $16.7 million in public schools in
Dickson.
Local Jobs
The LNP has sold out local jobs and
Australian workers.
The LNP voted eight times to support cuts to penalty
rates, allowed companies to bring workers from
overseas without advertising jobs locally, and tried to
give tax handouts to big business while sending jobs
overseas. Ali France and Labor will restore penalty
rates - and invest in local infrastructure projects, local
jobs and apprenticeships.
