To say “I want to become a Photographer” is probably the wrong motivation. It’s best to start out
with, I love being creative with my photographs and really enjoy meeting people and making
memories that last forever. If you are just starting out here are some tips for you;
THE Start up list:

• Camera – Try searching Google ‘amateur camera’ or use your device’s camera.
• Computer - software, storage space (icloud, dropbox, hard drives)
Study your camera, explore your editing skills and try out the different settings. Check out social
media sites for tips, groups and clubs. Explore different types & subjects for your photography.
For those who think they may be ready to take it to the next level, let’s talk briefly about the
costs involved in stepping it up:
• Pro type Camera’s (min 2 $2,200 entry level to $8,900),
• Lenses: (min 3 lenses, Wide angle , STD 50mm & 70-200mm Zoom $7,500),
• Tripods:(1 heavy pro type and 2 light that can double as flash stands $1,000),
• Flashes: (min 2 top range on camera as starters $1,200),
• A bag to carry your gear around on site!
On the business side, you need a killer website, mobile phone, transportation, business name,
watermark, business cards, public liability insurance and these days a social media networking plan
of attack.

involved in producing that image for you.

Event Director Dan Nebe said the show this year will be Overseas Travel Immunisations
the biggest yet with the signing of Hoodoo Gurus and
Diana Anaid. Both artists are household names and have
created amazing amounts of attention for the region.
“People as far away as Perth have booked tickets” Mr
Nebe said. The whole team are working overtime to
make 2018 one to remember.
